Medical services expand to the greater Seven Oaks area

12.5.2018

Building on the success of the Centric Urgent Care, which opened within the last year, The Shoppes at Seven Oaks will soon have an additional medical tenant. The Kern Endocrine Center will open a new facility alongside the Centric Urgent Care and the two local eateries – Sequoia Sandwich and Asada Grill, also opening later this year.

Further evidence of growth of the medical market is currently underway within the Seven Oaks Business Park on Bolthouse Drive where two office and medical suites totaling over 13,000 square feet are completing construction and will be available for occupancy starting January 1, 2019.

According to Mark Smith, a Principal at ASU and Associates and broker for the Seven Oaks Business Park, “As the city’s growth continues to move west, we’re meeting with business owners who appreciate the unique zoning opportunities and who have a vision for what this region will look like down the road. It is easy to appreciate the quality and aesthetic of the Seven Oaks community. Bolthouse Properties offers our clients a variety of alternatives from competitive lease programs, to purchase of land, to build to suit and construction management services. The Seven Oaks Business Park provides medical professionals with the opportunity to purchase the land and own their facility rather than lease, creating equity for their business and increasing the value of their enterprise,” Smith said.

Typifying the increased development, Hoffmann Hospice is excited to announce the Phase II development of their campus on Buena Vista Drive. By next summer their entire team of Hoffmann Hospice will be on one campus!  The new building, which is approximately 12,900 square feet, will be home to their administration, volunteer and outpatient clinical staff. In addition, they will also house two large rooms dedicated to their popular community grief support groups! “Being under one roof is going to allow Hoffmann to serve even more patients in the hospice home at any given moment as well as add to the efficiency of day to day operations, says Beth Hoffmann, Administrator at Hoffmann Hospice.”

As the end of 2018 nears, discussions are ongoing for the continued expansion of the medical uses within the Seven Oaks Business Park.

Bruce Davis, Senior Vice President at Bolthouse Properties says, “The Business Park has the unique ability to cater to the needs of medical office and retail users in a live/work/play environment within a master planned business park. We’ve incorporated heavily landscaped open spaces and trails for the enjoyment of businesses with connectivity to the neighborhood pedestrian trails and retail outlets.”

Following the track record for residential growth in the Seven Oaks community, the demand for quality medical services is expected to dramatically increase giving way to opportunities for forward looking companies to expand their serves to the growing Seven Oaks region.
